Birmingham, UK – Spica Technologies, a workplace technology provider that helps companies drive business efficiencies by utilising connected devices solutions, have been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) G-Cloud 12 Digital Marketplace Framework.
This impressive accreditation enables Spica to offer their SaaS (Software as a Service) workplace experience solutions to UK Public Sector organisations through the CCS Framework. G-cloud provides a standard contractual arrangement between government, buyers and suppliers of cloud-based services and was devised to tie together regulations, guidance, and direct purchasing to make procuring cloud services easier, faster, and more transparent for organisations, whilst saving money for the taxpayer. It is sponsored by the Cabinet Office and is the biggest procurement organisation in the UK. This imperative move further demonstrates how Spica are continuing to expand as an IOT solutions provider.
Spica have continuously worked hard to develop their products aligning to customer demand and this latest move increases the opportunity to offer those products through further channels, creating flexibility for its current client base and new opportunities. Through the framework, organisations will be able to purchase one of many Spica solutions offerings built via the GemEx Engine® platform and Luna Digital Workplace app. These pioneering solutions have been uniquely designed to save employees time, boost productivity, improve health and well-being, support with new COVID-19 secure practices and ultimately enhance employee engagement within the workplace and organisation.
In 2016, the Business Standards Company BSI in conjunction with the Cabinet Office, announced the new Smart Working Code of Practice (PAS 3000). This innovative code of practice highlighted the importance of utilising technology to create a better workplace experience and operational efficiencies and was backed by the UK Government. Spica are committed to supporting this initiative and are driven to supplying ground-breaking applications to the UK Public Sector.
